Martin Mölder In this seminar we will continue on the topic of polarization. Federico Vegetti, a soon to be doctoral graduate of the University of Mannheim and a future post-doctoral fellow here at CEU, will be presenting a paper titled "The Conflictual Nature of Ideological Polarization" that he is co-authoring. The paper explores the questions of how elite (political parties) and mass (the electorate) level polarizations relate to each other and what the implications are for partisan identification and ideological thinking.
